Fringed flounder (Etropus crosotus)

Collected: 1-5 km off of Assateague Island, Va in June 2008 and 2009 using an epibenthic sled  fitted with a 365 µm mesh

Notes:  These larvae go through extensive changes during the course of larval development. Fins appear along the entire dorsal and ventral edges, a definitive tail appears, and one eye migrates to the left side.
